The data taking process can be speeded up appreciably by not using a comparison star. This can be accomplised by doing an all sky calibration by observing five or more standard stars through differing air mass. The results give K' v, K' bv and the zero point constants for v and b-v. At the present time only BV and g'r' filters are supported. The data is reduced in the Data Reduction module when flaged by leaving the comparison star box blank.

Of course, you have to submit your reduced data to make your work meaniful. The Plot module has facilites to make files compatible for data submission to the AAVSO WebObs and the Czech Astronomcial Society B.R.N.O, MEDUZA and TRESCA projects.
